Food Safety Charter
Last updated: 19 September 2026
1. Our Commitment
Every kitchen Red Bean operates — in a hospital ward, a campus hostel, a corporate boardroom, or an industrial canteen — runs under the same non-negotiable food safety standard. This charter sets out the commitments that apply across every site.
2. Regulatory Compliance
- Valid FSSAI licensing maintained at every operating site.
- ISO 22000 and HACCP-aligned food safety management practices.
- Compliance with the Minimum Wages Act, ESI, EPF, Professional Tax, and Labour Welfare Fund obligations for kitchen staff.
- GST registration and timely statutory filings for every operating entity.
3. Hygiene & Sanitation Standards
- Sterile tray-line assembly and sealed, isothermal transport for patient and institutional meals.
- Scheduled deep-cleaning and pest-control cycles for every kitchen and storage area.
- Colour-coded equipment and cutting surfaces to prevent cross-contamination between raw and cooked food.
4. Staff Training & Health
- Regular medical check-ups for all food-handling staff.
- Mandatory hygiene and food-handling training before staff are deployed to a live site.
- Uniformed, ID-badged personnel at every client facility.
5. Sourcing & Ingredient Quality
Ingredients are procured at open-book wholesale rates from vetted suppliers, with batch-level traceability maintained for perishable goods. Therapeutic and diet-specific meals (diabetic, low-sodium, renal, and post-operative) follow dietitian-approved formulations.
6. Cold Chain & Storage
Perishables are held within regulated temperature bands from receiving through to service, with insulated thermal carts used to preserve serving temperature during transport to wards, cafeterias, and dining halls.
7. Quality Audits & Testing
- Routine food and water quality testing at operating sites.
- Internal audit cycles cross-checked against client-side facility audits.
- Maintenance of statutory records, registers, and compliance documentation for inspection on request.
8. Complaints & Feedback
Any food safety concern raised by a client, patient, student, or employee at a Red Bean-operated site is escalated to our Culinary Directorship desk. To report a concern, contact info@redbeanhospitality.com or call +91 90416 70646.
9. Continuous Improvement
This charter is reviewed periodically as regulations evolve and as we expand into new sectors and cities. Material updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page.
